How does payment work? Does LabourCore hold or escrow my money?
No. You contract and settle directly with the client. LabourCore never holds your money or sits in the contractual chain.
Who am I actually dealing with? How do I know they’re legitimate?
Every client and live project is verified before demand is published, with a clear evidence trail attached to each opportunity.
What about health & safety on site?
Site duties remain with the contracting parties. LabourCore verifies workforce credentials and keeps that evidence current and portable.
Who’s liable if a crew causes loss or damage?
Liability follows the direct contract between you and the client. LabourCore provides the verified record, but is not a party to the works contract.
What if the other party becomes insolvent? Is my payment protected?
LabourCore does not guarantee or insure payment. Client checks and delivery records help you assess risk before accepting work, while your direct contract governs recovery.
What are the payment terms?
Payment terms are agreed directly between you and the client before appointment, and are shown clearly before you commit to the opportunity.
Is there retention?
Any retention is set by the direct works contract. Where it applies, it must be disclosed in the opportunity and agreed before appointment.
Are there penalties or liquidated damages for missed deadlines?
Only where they are included in your direct contract. LabourCore makes key commercial terms visible before you accept, so there are no platform-imposed penalties.
